The kids enjoyed playing in Lost Lake!  It has been several years since we had been there.  It was a great way to spend a hot summer day!

Happy Mother's Day !

Dear Kids,
I know it's Mother's Day, and everyone celebrates Mom.  But I want you to know, you guys make everyday seem like Mother's Day.  I feel so blessed to be your mom.  There are days when my heart overflows with joy because you are in my life.  I love being your mom, I can't imagine doing anything else that would be as fulfilling.  If God were to ask me if I wanted to change anything in my life, I would do it all the same.  I would choose you.  There have been some challenging times and there have been joyful times.  But there have been way more fun times than hard ones.  God has used the challenging times to refine me and draw me closer to Him.  The love and joy you bring into my life towers over the hard times.  So thank you, Hannah, Sarah, Matthew, Danielle, Noah, Timothy, Joshua, Josiah, Faith, and Mikayla, for being the amazing kids you are and being the reason I get to celebrate today.

Seattle Trip

Brian and I had a fun day trip to Seattle.  We had lunch at the top of the Space Needle and went to the observation deck.

The food was good and the view was incredible.

Visiting the Kids

I am so thankful that I was able to visit Hannah, Thommy and Matthew for several days in California.  Brian surprised me with a trip while he worked on our downstairs bathroom.  It was a win-win for me!!! 

I was able to see Matt in action as a barista! 

Hannah and I ate at this great little grilled cheese restaurant in Burbank, called The Melt.  YUM!

It was nice to go to church with them on Sunday.  I always enjoy the preaching at their church.
