Visiting the Kids

I am so thankful that I was able to visit Hannah, Thommy and Matthew for several days in California.  Brian surprised me with a trip while he worked on our downstairs bathroom.  It was a win-win for me!!! 

I was able to see Matt in action as a barista! 

Hannah and I ate at this great little grilled cheese restaurant in Burbank, called The Melt.  YUM!

It was nice to go to church with them on Sunday.  I always enjoy the preaching at their church.

It was a great time having Matt here for several days.  We crammed a lot in while he was here.

Had great pizza

Had a Nerf gun fight

Played Cargo Noir

Raked leaves (Timmy had soooo much fun)

Went to Chuck E Cheese

More yummy pizza

Played the Wii

Had a movie night (more pizza)

Had a BBQ

Got doughnuts (thanks to Matt)

Had milkshakes (thanks to Matt)

Went to the Library

 

 

 

Okay, there does seem to be a pizza theme going on here!

Family Time

Brian is reading our last night of our advent calendar!  The kids really enjoy this special time.

The Annual Christmas Tree Hunt

We started off as usual for our Christmas tree.  I had my coffee and my camera, oh, and the kids.  Those are the essentials.  We took a lot (emphasis added) of time searching for the perfect tree.  After much discussion, we came home with one everyone agreed on.

The kids had fun decorating and I had fun taking pictures and finishing off the last of my favorite coffee.  All we were missing were Hannah, Thommy, Matthew, and Sarah.  That would have made it even better than it was.

Thankful!

I have so many things to be thankful for this year!  I write a top ten list every year and this year I couldn't keep it to ten.  God has been so good.  His blessings really are too numerous to count!!!

Favorite Jacket

Brian was so excited that his favorite jacket got fixed.  He hasn't been able to wear it for a year.  You would think it was a new one by how happy he is!
